IBEW Local 1260 Endorses Lt. Governor Shan Tsutsui

HONOLULU – The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 1260 has announced it is supporting Shan Tsutsui for Lieutenant Governor. “Lt. Governor Shan Tsutsui comes from a working class family with strong local roots.  With a growing family of his own, he understands what we need to make Hawaii a viable place to raise families.  We at Local 1260 are very proud and honored to support Shan’s campaign for Lieutenant Governor,” said Brian Ahakuelo, Business Manager/Financial Secretary. International Union of Painters & Allied Trades, District Council 50 Endorse Lt. Governor Tsutsui

HONOLULU —  The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT), District 50 (DC50), has announced its endorsement of Shan Tsutsui as Hawaii’s Lieutenant Governor.  “Lt. Governor Shan Tsutsui is a proven leader, stepping into a leadership position as a freshman Senator that eventually led him to becoming the first Senate President from Maui.  He is a champion for the working men and women in our State and understands what it takes to make Hawaii the best place to live for our families and for future generations,” said Ryden “Bully” Valmoja, Business Manager/Secretary-Treasurer, DC50. Lt. Governor Shan Tsutsui Makes His Candidacy Official

HONOLULU-  Lt. Gov. Shan Tsutsui filed his nomination papers this afternoon, making his candidacy for lieutenant governor official.  He was joined by his wife, Lyndelle, and daughters, Mikayla, Kaylee and Kenna at the Office of Elections in downtown Honolulu.  Supporters also surrounded Tsutsui and his family. “I am honored to have earned the support from the people of Hawaii and I can’t thank them enough for believing in our campaign,” said Tsutsui.  “As lieutenant governor, I will continue to work hard for Hawaii’s working families and I look forward to an exciting election season.” Tsutsui became the 12th Lieutenant Governor of the State of Hawaii after the position was vacated at the end of 2012.
